What is SlideBites?

SlideBites is a free teaching tool for clinicians. You can start with your own notes, case, guideline extract or rough teaching plan and approve the structure before any slides are written — or start from a clinical topic when you want a faster first draft. SlideBites helps with structure, evidence checks, slides, presenter preparation and live audience questions, while you remain the educator. It works on a phone, so you can teach from a ward round, a handover or a seminar room.

What you can do with it

  • Build from your own material and approve the teaching plan before slides are written.
  • Or start from a topic when you want a quick evidence-based first draft.
  • Read a private presenter briefing covering the teaching flow, likely questions and caveats.
  • Present live and let people join by scanning a QR code.
  • Ask the room questions and see the answers appear as they come in.
  • Build your own session by hand, or upload slides you already have.
  • Turn any session into flashcards, a test, or a conference poster.
  • Collect feedback and issue attendance certificates.

Is it free?

Yes. Teaching, presenting and joining are free for everyone. Colleagues who want to help with running costs can contribute on the support page.
