Delete your SlideBites account
You can permanently delete your SlideBites account and associated content at any time.
Delete it in the app
Sign in, open your profile, then choose the account deletion option. We will ask you to confirm because deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
If you cannot sign in
Email hello@slidebites.com from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask for limited information to confirm that the request is really yours.
What is deleted
- Your account and profile.
- Your sessions, slides, flashcards, tests, saved items and uploaded files owned by the account.
- Your certificates and other account-linked teaching or learning records that are deleted with the account.
What may be retained
Records we must keep for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes may be retained only for the required period. For example, financial transaction records may be retained while personal display information is removed or anonymised where possible. Payment processors and app stores keep their own records under their policies.
How long it takes
In-app deletion is designed to remove the account immediately. Requests sent to us are handled without undue delay and, where data-protection law applies, within the applicable legal time limit.
