What Slidebites is
Slidebites is educational software. It drafts teaching material for you to review, edit and deliver. It is not intended for diagnosis, treatment, prevention or monitoring of disease, and it must not be used to make a decision about the care of a specific patient.
AI-written material must be checked
- Every session, flashcard, question and image is generated by AI and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong.
- The registered professional delivering the teaching is responsible for its accuracy.
- Check doses, thresholds, pathways and red flags against your own local guidance before teaching them.
- Citations are retrieved from open sources; open the source and confirm it says what the slide says.
- Local policy overrides anything Slidebites produces.
Where our evidence comes from
Slidebites searches open, reputable sources — including PubMed-indexed guidelines and reviews, NICE, NICE CKS, the BNF, SIGN, NHS England, UKHSA and MHRA material, Cochrane, the WHO, and the relevant royal colleges and specialty bodies. Coverage varies by topic, and guidance changes; a retrieved source is a starting point for your reading, not an endorsement.
Patient information
Do not put identifiable patient information into Slidebites. Anonymise cases before you type or upload them.
Report a safety concern
If you believe generated material is unsafe, email hello@slidebites.com with the topic and what was wrong. We review clinical-safety reports as a priority.
